Empowering the Individual CPD Workshop (Canada)

Teachers, Studio Owners, and Dancers are warmly invited to join us in Toronto for an in-person Rambert Grades: Contemporary Dance Teacher Taster, introducing the entire Contemporary Dance syllabus from Creative Movers to Grade 8.

This practical session puts the spotlight on empowering individuality – a core value of Rambert Grades – offering participants the opportunity to explore the Technical, Creative and Performance Strands in action. Learn how Rambert Grades Contemporary Dance can complement your ballet training, supporting expressive, confident and creatively curious dancers. 

We warmly welcome all dance educators and practitioners.
This event is co-hosted by the Royal Academy of Dance, and we extend a special welcome to RAD Registered Teachers and Members / Members Plus attending live in Toronto.

About your Workshop Leader

Helen Cox, MA is a Rambert Grades Ambassador for Canada, supporting the growth of the syllabus and its teaching community nationwide. She is Director of the Accelerated Training Program at the Canadian Contemporary Dance Theatre in Toronto, where, as a faculty member, she guides the training and development of emerging contemporary dancers.

Helen began her teaching career in the United Kingdom, working with leading institutions including the Royal Ballet School, Royal Opera & Ballet, Trinity Laban, and the Central School of Ballet. Since relocating to Canada in 2022, she has taught at Alberta Ballet School and served on the Board of Directors for Dancers’ Studio West.
