Why teach Rambert Grades?

Rambert Grades is built on a relevance to professional practice. We embrace an ethos of progressive dance education. The fully accessible syllabus is carefully designed to ensure students from all backgrounds gain the skills and knowledge in contemporary dance that enable them to unleash their creative force, become brave enough to engage, take personal responsibility and push themselves.

We offer two syllabi:

  • Creative Dance for Early Years (Creative Movers, Pre-Primary and Primary)

  • Grades 1-8

Rambert Grades was created from the groundbreaking collaboration between Rambert and Rambert School. The syllabi were developed by some of the most dynamic and relevant voices of contemporary dance in the UK – including material devised for the syllabi by Hofesh Shechter and Alesandra Seutin.

Rambert Grades is an awarding body regulated by The Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulations (Ofqual).
