Rambert Grades is excited to launch a brand-new opportunity for young dancers to become the official faces of Rambert Grades. 

This new casting call invites dancers aged 3+ currently taking part in Rambert Grades Contemporary Dance training to celebrate their progress, creativity, and individuality, with the chance to take part photoshoot with a professional photographer and the Rambert Grades team at Rambert School in London. 

We know that for many students, dance training is about more than technique. It’s about confidence, expression, resilience, and finding joy in movement. This initiative has been created as a fresh way to recognise and celebrate the young people at the heart of our Rambert Grades community. 

Students are invited to submit two simple photos: 

• a photo performing their favourite or strongest contemporary dance movement 

• a smiling portrait photo 

Images can be informal and taken on a phone and no professional photography is required. The movement should reflect the dancer’s current Rambert Grade level, whether they have recently completed a grade or are currently working towards one. 

Rambert Grades celebrates the diversity of contemporary dance education and is looking to recognise and celebrate dancers for many different reasons, from technical promise and expression to personality, charisma, and their overall suitability for the project.

We encourage all Rambert Grades Trained Teachers to share this opportunity with their students and families. It’s a wonderful way to celebrate dancers’ hard work and progression, and to help them feel seen as part of the wider Rambert Grades community. 

Please note that this casting call is open to dancers who are able to travel to London for the photoshoot on Saturday 12 September 2026.
