Six new CPD opportunities for Rambert Grades Teachers 

Rambert Grades has launched a new annual programme of Refresher Training for 2026-27, introducing six Continuing Professional Development (CPD) opportunities for Trained Teachers to continue their professional development. 

Available exclusively to trained Rambert Grades members, Refresher Training supports teachers in revisiting syllabus content, refreshing their knowledge and exploring developments in pedagogy and teaching practice. 

Continuing Professional Development (CPD) plays an important role in maintaining high standards across dance education. At Rambert Grades, teachers are expected to engage with CPD regularly, helping to ensure they remain up to date with current guidance, best practice and developments within the syllabus to deliver the highest quality learning experiences for their students. 

Director of Training and Examinations Hannah Kidd said:

Refresher Training supports this by giving teachers the opportunity to revisit the syllabus, refine their practice and continue developing their knowledge. The courses also provide valuable opportunities to share experiences, learn from one another and build confidence within the Rambert Grades teaching community." 

Alongside Refresher Training, many teachers continue to expand their skills throughout the year by training to teach additional syllabus levels or learning new Performance Strand solos, enabling them to offer students an even broader range of opportunities. Refresher Training complements this journey by giving teachers the opportunity to revisit existing knowledge, deepen their understanding and further develop their teaching practice.

Booking for all 2026-2027 Contemporary Dance Refresher Training courses is now open. 

2026-27 Refresher Training programme includes courses across the full syllabus, with online training taking place between September 2026 and August 2027. 

Current Refresher Training course fees are: 

Creative Movers, Pre-Primary and Primary – £125
Level 1 (Grades 1–3) – £125
Level 2 (Grades 4–5) – £125
Level 3 (Grades 6–8) – £215
